This lovely warm light gold and sandy coloured bracelet draws its name from the Swahili word for light.
Inspired by the sun-drenched sandy colour of the banks of the river that runs through the Loita Hills, down through the forest and just below the beadwork house. It has hints of lilac shade and water in each bracelet, making it a beautiful reminder of the place it was created.
This elegant bracelet was created using a stunning mix of mustard, ivory, lilac and striped seed beads with handmade brass and stardust beads carefully linked together with Kenyan brass wire using traditional Maasai beading techniques.
A celebration of colour, culture, and craftsmanship.
